Generally the product does what it is supposed to and is fairly straight forward to change. Filter may drip a few drops on the floor when changing but not really a big deal. It is a good idea to check that the filter is firmly seated (give it a good push to seat it) or the dispenser does not operate. Filter lasts for a reasonable period of time before it requires replacement.
Abt does a good job with respect to customer service and delivery and this is one of the reasons I am repeat customer.

It is a pretty nice fridge filter. I would buy this product again. It took care of some rusty water that came in as a result of water main break. We could see brown colored water coming out of the tap but we did not taste it through this filter. It works well.

This is the best refrigerator water filter design I have used. It's easy to change; just push and turn. The water supply does not have to be turned off and it does not leak durning insatllation. Also, there is no carbon residue to purge as in most other all purpose water filters. However, you still have to run water for a minute or two to get all the air out of the line.

The product leaves little to experience at install. The filter is simple to replace and I had very little spill (drips) when easily removing the product from the bottom of the fridge. Our water without the filter is not drinkable, hard with heavily chlorine. The filter removes enough to allow my pregnant wife to drink from it. It's not NASA filtration system built into the fridge - what we have is what we need.[...]. All this over a filter... When you are buying bottle water to prepare meals with and you have a pregnant wife, it matters. [...].

This is a direct replacement for the Kenmore 9010 filter. It is much cheaper. The only issue I have is with replacement. After installing, you need to have a jug handy to catch all the water. When you get the first cup of water, it won't quit running until about a half a gallon of water is ran through it. I had the same experience with the Kenmore filters. Otherwise, this is a great filter. The water quality is great. It makes the water taste a lot better. I use it for tea and coffee and you can tell a difference. We are on city water and at different times of the year, it tastes bad so the filter cleans all that up.

This filter fits my KitchenAid Refrigerator perfectly and is easy to install. I do recommend that you put a towel under the filter when you remove the old to replace with the new. This filter provides clear ice and fresh water with a long life.

The cyst removing filter is far and away better than the standard one. Of course, if you need these filters for your refrigerator, you are a captive audience. This type fits your model and that's that. But please know that the upgrade to this unit is well worth the few extra bucks. Incredible step up.
