The griddle does a superb job searing tuna and carmelizing onions, beyond what I expected from a non-stick surface. Fits my Dacor stovetop perfectly, giving me more surface area,e.g., I now cook an entire 1c-flour recipe of griddle cakes in a single batch.

This is a great griddle for anyone who likes to make big breakfasts. I bought it for my husband who is our in-house pancake chef! We love being able to cook larger pancakes on a flat surface. We also used it for "grilling" burgers and vidalia onions and it worked beautifully! The great thing is the way the griddle is designed with a slight incline so grease runs away from your food rather than just pooling around it. There is a grease catch at the end of the griddle as well. The only thing we had a learning curve on was setting our burners to the correct temps. The max setting recommended is medium, and you have to try to get your burners set at very close temperatures or you end up with one end hotter than the other. I highly recommend it!

A perfect addition to the cooktop. It is heavy as it should be and has a quality non-stick coating. It would be nice if the sharp edges were removed from the bottom and it had rubber feet like the grates on the cooktop. It fits the grates well and does not rock. Excellent quality.
