This replacement griddle was not as pictured, instead it was, I believe, the older model, because it has the exact same drain hole configuration as our 13 year old griddle we were replacing... the one pictured has an updated drain hole pattern of three slightly oblong larger drain holes per side instead of the the current pencil eraser size single hole drain(one on each side)configuration. That having been said, the griddle is the perfect fit, and has a great no stick cooking surface.

Item just rests up from the burners and took me a while to get it set right. After feeling it was secure, it worked great for hashbrowns. It has a large surface and cooked well without burning.

The grill inserts that came with the Jenn-air were rarely used, a nightmare to clean, and didn't grill that well. This gridle insert has many more uses, cooks well, and is very easy to use. It is epecially useful for our Sunday breakfasts. Cooking pancakes, eggs and beacon all at the same time. Well worth it

The large surface area of this griddle is great when cooking pancakes, eggs, bacon, french toast, grilled cheese, etc for larger groups. Cuts overall time standing at the stove in half. Clean up is relatively easy and drain feature is very handy - just don't forget to clean out the trap on occassion.
