Alright reader's heres what it all boils down to. This system offers alot of bang for the buck. Sony knows how to make stereo's, and make them well, as this system, to me, is a work of art. Its 520 watts, and that shows through all the bass too. Its enough to make my walls, and my bedroom window rattle...it even thumps hard enough to make my bedroom window's GLASS move and vibrate somewhat. The sound quality is awesome, the woofers aboslutely thump and the horn tweeters are flawless. The speaker sizes I THINK are anywhere from a 7 to 8 inches for the two main woofers and about 4.5 to 5.5 inches for the surround sound speakers. The surround sound speakers produce bass but no where near as much as the 8's do. The controls are easy to work. The interface on the main unit is rather clear about what does this and that. The display where the letters numbers and whatnot show up is wonderful. Very vibrant and colorful...its fun to look at even. What I have told you is just a mear glempse of what this stereo holds in store for its owner(s). It is absolutely positivly AWESOME. Just be sure to have a two person lift team on hand becuase this is one heavy package when in the box. Anywhere from 50 to 80 pounds. That'll give you your work out for the day.
