Product was easy to install, and seems to work very well, but parts are brand specific - you can't get replacement parts at other stores.
I ordered the product on a Saturday, and I think it was delivered by Tuesday - pretty simple - shipping was free in this case.

Inexpensive unit to replace the identical one that only lasted 4 years. The grinder plate is plain steel and rusts. One of the grinder blades came out of the original grinder plate and the cost of a replacement part was only $25 less than a whole new unit.
Delivery was really fast (was supposed to take 2 weeks and arrived in only 4 days). It was in perfect condition and fit right where the old one was.

I needed a low amp disposal for my small kitchen and this baby works like a charm. At only 4 Amps and 1/3 HP I expected a significant drop in power from my older 3/4 HP model. Surprisingly so far after 3 weeks of use I can not tell the difference! It was extremely EASY to install and does everything I need it to do. It's just my wife and I in a small kitchen so it's perfect! If you have a larger kitchen and a bigger family I would recommend something larger. But if you need to save a few $$ and can live with a little less power this is tremendous value for the money! I've only had it for 3 weeks so I can't comment on the durability but it has a great name in GE.

Works great and is very compact. We don't have much space under our sink since we have a roll out garbage under neath the sink. I needed something that would fit, and this fit perfectly.

Shopped around the big box home improvement centers could not find a GE replacement, [...] ps: The unit is a snap to install, but I had to run to the home improvement center a couple of times, the housing did not have a self threading hole to install the electrical BX cable clamp, and the drain pipe did not line up to the existing trap. A flexible drain pipe took care of the problem (should have planned ahead)

Exactly what I was looking for and needed. Existing plumbing required a disposal only 5inches across and this was it. Very quiet. Obviously not for big applications.

Good product, well made, easy to put together instructions. The big mistake is not having an electrical cord in the box. I had to use the cord from my old machine and it does not fit properly, which is not good where electricity is involved. I'd rather pay extra for a proper cord than use a none standard one. And they need to tell you ih the advert that a cord is not supplied.

We especially like the fact that the rubber splash guard is removable and thus so easy to clean. Most other brands don't have a removable splash guard, so I wonder what you do when they start stinking...
