My wife and I use these phones every day at home. The sound quality is outstanding. We really like the fact that when we enter someone's name and phone number in the address book, it appears in all 3 phones...very convenient.

I have only used this phone for a few weeks and so far it's great. It has all the functions needed. The one function I love is the block number, this is the best. I don't have to deal with pesty people. One fault I find is the answering voice that tells who is calling. I can never understand it. The pronunciation is terrible.

When using the speaker phone feature on handsets, the call unexpectedly cuts off and reads "no connection to the base." This has happeneded on all 3 hand sets multiple times.

Read the reviews on other sites before buying!! I had all the same problems others have had. Would say battery was low even when fully charged. Would shut off when answering a call. Just a real piece of junk. Bought a vtech and love it!!

Even tech support at Panasonic said they had problems with this phone one of their own tech reps told me to go on internet and type in common problems with this phone -I did and was amazed to read of many people describing same things : dropped calls, error messages, told to recharge for 7 hours after I had just recharged etc.

A very good phone with great features. Caller ID block is the best ever. I block all advertisers now and it's the best. The only problem I have with this phone is the headset design, it's comfortable and compact, but the keys are very small and jammed together, plus the signs on them are tiny and hard to read. It take some getting used to, to push the right button when you need it.

Strictly use this product for personal use, and I do like the size and feel of it.

But at times all the phones do not ring when a call comes in. That's frustrating as I have a phone on each floor of the house and sometimed I can't hear when a call is coming in.

I've been using a Panasonic cordless phone for some years now with no problems, no regrets. It was still working great but I figured it was time for an upgrade so I bought this one. I find that it is every bit as good as my first phone, but with more upgraded features, I think it looks even nicer.

I had a Uniden 900 phone/answering machine for five or six years, and replaced it with a Uniden 5.8 MHz answering machine with a second phone when it quit working. It had a much poorer range, and if someone picked up one unit, the other unit shut off. When I called Uniden, the service person said "Of course it has a short range, it's a 5.8 MHz phone", as if this were something everyone should know. This was not mentioned on the box, as in, "5.8mhZ, FOR much less range!'

I have tried Motorola and ATT units since then, and they all lacked range, or were unreliable.

So I did some research and bought this three-unit Panasonic set. I am very happy with it so far. I uses 2 standard AAA rechargeable NiMH batteries instead of those expensive battery packs with the annoying proprietary plugs, and that is a great idea.

Some of the instructions in the manual, where you enter a code to access a feature, do not seem to be complete, but I have been able to find a way to access all the features I wanted so far. There is a socket to plug into a hands-free jack, but the volume is too low for me to use adequately. I would recommend it to anyone, nevertheless.

It is a good value for the money I paid at Abt.

One problem is inability to program in successive identical digits/numbers, i.e., nn or 44 in the name blanks.

They work well away from the base unit. I ONLY GOT 3 HANDSETS WITH MINE. I am considering buying more they work so well.

the volume on the answering machine is not very loud and is sometimes hard to hear the message. Some calls echo back into my ear and I'm not sure if I am too far base or if it is where the call is coming from. Talking caller ID is helpful and can be shut off for night time (a good feature)

It is great to have one base phone (connected to telephone provider) with two or more phones in other rooms (connected to power source only).
Back lighting is easy to read.
Spoken announcement of callers is terrific.
Caller ID identifies caller even while you are in the middle of another call.
I have only tried a few features of this phone...but so far it is terrific.

These phones replaced my previous Panasonic phones. I searched Consumer.Org and these ranked at the top, and were more highly ranked than phones that were more expensive. When they arrived I had them set up in just a few minutes; no difficult installation steps. I plugged in the main and the two other phones and that was it. The signal is loud, voices are sharp and clear. Filling the address book couldn't be simpler. The bottom line is that these phones are an excellent choice.

Nothing is perfect so I only gave it 4 stars. It was easy to set up, especially the phone book. The sound is really great, outside or inside, even with two of us using the phones in the same room. We haven't used all the features yet, don't have caller I.D. yet, but it has all the features we could dream of using. We like the phones and would buy them again.

I USE FOR EVERYDAY PHONE CALLS. THE TALKING CALLER ID IS MY FAVORITE FEATURE, MAIN REASON FOR THE PURCHASE. I LOVE THE INTERCOM FUNCTION. I HAVE 3 FLOORS SO ITS VERY HELPFUL SO THAT I DON'T HAVE TO GO FROM FLOOR TO FLOOR.I HAVE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PHONE TO ALL OF MY FAMILY. MY SON RECENTLY PURCHASED A SIMILAR PHONE. This is an outstanding set of phones, especially for the price. I was surprised that you can set the satellite phones anywhere... only the base unit needs a telephone outlet. You can check messages from any phone and customize the features on a phone by phone basis. If I had to find something I would change about these phones, I would make the keys a little bigger. I was a little hesitant to buy without seeing these phones first, but I have absolutely no regrets!

This is my 2nd Panasonic cordless phone set. the setup was easy and I have yet to touch the instructions. I was unaware of the fact that this unit has audible caller ID; which is nice. I also like the fact that when you enter a telephone # in the phone book of 1 phone, it synchronizes to the other handsets. Overall, a very nice unit.

Love the sleek design of these phones. However, what I like best is that they work great! The sound is clear and my calls do not drop. My home has wireless and my last set of phones (VTech) did not work well with my wireless signal. I decided to try the Panasonic phones. The wireless signal does not interfere! If you are looking for phones that work well and give great sound, check these phones out. The value is great and they work well!

The phone is great and there are enough handsets that are always ready if one needs a recharge. Bonus- the phone will tell you (by talking) that the battery is low. Love the talking caller ID no more running to look at the caller ID or searching to find the phone.

I care for 93 year old Mom and her companion who live next door. I'm able to take my handset with me when tending to them. Since I handle all their calls, doctors, business etc., this is a great help to me. Also, appreciate the voice caller ID. Know when I must take a call and when I don't have to without looking at the phone. Loved the company ABT. Best service anyone could ask for!
