Over the last 6 years I put in 2 Insinkerator hot water dispensers [$]). Both tanks started leaking after 3 years. I decided to move up to the KitchenAid as its durability seems better. It's not cheap as I paid [$] - That's $60 more than I paid for my 50 gal. hot water heater. It looks better than the plastic Insinkerator. Time will tell on tank quality.Installation was easy and straight forward. I was concerned at first that there would be leaks in the supply line because the included 1/4" coupler is a plastic. You just push in the copper pipe in one side and the plastic pipe from the faucet into the other. To my surprise - no leaks!
