I am using these glasses with my 61" Samsung DLP. The end game - it is amazing. Simply amazing! I bought two glasses so my wife could watch as well. Crysis is at least 10-15ft deep beyond the screen.

The software provided gives you "demo" pictures to oh and awe at and "demo" drivers for your games. (Play them with half the screen in 3d - the bottom half!) You have to pay (pony up) an addtional $5-$10 for each game you want to play in 3D and the selection is slim for older games. It does seem to find the games it supports for you. You have to buy license codes to unlock them, and apparently they're only good for ONE activation, so if you reinstall - you repurchase...not sure though.

I did figure out that if you download the 3D drivers from NVIDIA (red/blue 3d instead of alternating eyes) that it works good for all games (Free) if you put the red/blue 3d glasses on and then turn the TV 3d on as well. If you don't mind the color issues, that works great.

If you can get over the "hidden" fees - the drivers do slow it down but the effects are amazing. I expected it to slow down, so I wasn't upset. Now I need to SLI my rig.

Haven't tried DVD movies yet, curious how those will work.. unfortunately, they're all for kids.

Oh, and I didn't have any problems with distance or angle.. You know when it turns off, it's night and day (light and dark actually) and you can position the ir dongle at enough angle and distance to let two people watch on the same couch.
