Loading disks is a bit of a chore if you are doing a whole collection at once. One at a time as you grow your collection is ok.
The disk changer mechanism is a little louder than I thought it would be, but the when it is playing it is ok.
The software is Microsoft Media Center only, but it can be made to work under Linux. You don't get the cover thumbnails, but the basic functionality works.
All and all, if you need a DVD changer connected through a PC, this is a great choice for the price. If you don't need software based access to your whole library all the time, then its probably easier to just go get a single disk, or small carousel and save yourself the complexity.
