The sound quality is very close to home systems. Actually much better than some. The bass response is second to none. Don't waste your time w/ other brands(Klipsch,Bose,Creative,etc. That little "THX" logo is very important folks. Any item that receives this must be of very high build & component quality. I've owned a receiver w/ this and there is a big difference. Compare the Z-2300 sub to Bose and Klipsch. Laughable. [...]

I have a background in audio production, so I was pretty disappointed with most speakers at local brick and mortar stores. I wanted a 2.0 or 2.1 system worthy of a good mixing session, without plunking down more than $200 or having to buy extra equipment/cables, etc.
I considered models by M-Audio, Behringer, and Harmon Kardon but unfortunately have never heard any of those in person. What I can say is that I am completely satisfied with this set. The satellites are clear and loud, the sub is tight, and the volume module has a power button, volume control, separate bass volume, and headphone jack. I definitely recommend them. I don't see how you could be disappointed unless the subwoofer takes up too much space for your liking.

These are outstanding speakers. This is the 2nd pair I bought; this one for a friend. The sound is awesome! I keep the volume on low otherwise it would be much too loud. For the money, you can't beat these!In my opinion, they surpass the Bose computer speakers. The sub-woofer is a big, however, placerd on the floor, it is no problem. I highly recommend these speakers.

This is an outstanding speaker system and it is perfect for computers. The sound is awesome! In my opinion, it is better than the Bose computer speakers and is half the price. I highly recommend the Logitech Z-2300.

Great speakers. i have had them for 3 weeks and no complaints so far. The best part, in my opinion, is the fact that there is no interference whatsoever. i had the cheaper set for 2 years (90 watt), and those speakers always had problems with interference in the background when the speakers were turned on but no music playing. New speakers have no problem with that, even if the volume is turned all the way up. I am very impressed.

I first hooked them up to a TV in my basement and was suprised how they filled the large area with quality sound, a tad bassy, but good, clear highs and midrange. Sub is a bit large, and its cord is a bit short, but the sub works fine with my computer with the bass turned to its lowest setting, and with its port side up against the wall.[...]

The looks of the speakers are cool and the setup is easy and so are the controls. However, there is no in-between with subwoofer. It's either on or it's off. Can never find a happy medium. Speakers do sound great at a decent volume, but sometimes it would be nice if they would sound good at low volumes. My old system from Altec sounded better and had better bass levels even at low volume.

if you are looking for a set of 2.1 speakers, it doesn't get any better than this, taking all things into consideration such as price, performance, looks, etc. the subwoofer shakes the room and the volume is tremendous even only half way up. I haven't heard any distortion and these speakers really give you movie theater-like sound. Highly recommended!
