I use my sony case when I work out at the gym and want to listen to my own music. I also use it when I'm working. It's great because it does what it's supposed to do. I just wish it looked better.

The price is a bit on the high side, but the functionality is worth every penney.

I do not know much about the MP3 market - this is my first purchase. I wanted to get one, but I wasn't sure how often I would use it so I didn't want to spend big bucks right up front. However, I did want something reliable. Sony has been a great brand for me in the past...and I really wanted pink.
I was pleasantly surprized by the "screen", described (I believe) as one line. It's great - you can see the name of the song and album, how far along the song is; there's a menu button where you can choose to repeat, shuffle, listen to one artist or folder, change the sound, and more.
I have loaded songs from my CD's as well as from the Connect Store. I am having trouble getting music off iTunes (got a gift certificate for Christmas), but I have a lot to learn. I'm planning to burn those to a CD and then load the CD to the Sony program.
Anyway, overall I think it's a great little player. 1GB is enough for me, it's cute, easy to use. Love it!

The sports case is very attractive. It allows easy access to all the buttons on the MP3 player, plus it helps protect it from scratches. It securely clips onto the armband or your pocket. It's a must have if you have one of the Sony NW-E series players.

too expensive for what it is. Highly overrated. Should be priced at $10 - tops!
