It is difficult to get an "old style"
(non-boombox)radio for around the home.
This is the third RF 2400 I've bought over the years. I love it like a friend.........great radio.

If you are looking for a good quality portable radio, this one is hard to beat for the price! It has excellent sound (no tone controls, though), and the sensitivity and selectivity on AM and FM are both very good. You'll be surprised by the gutsy audio section! A "best buy".
