In college, professors do not slow down for note taking.This device picks up everything even the sound of a falling pen no matter where your sitting. It connects easily to the PC or Mac. Files transfer in a breeze.I can listen over and over without wasting the battery. Now I have more than enough room for future lectures and I save battery life. The only feature I would change is the silver finish. The finish is starting to peel off. Other then that,it's perfect!It's definitely worth the money!

I have no other recorder to compare with. This was my first digital recorder and it really helped me with a very importatnt interview that I took. I had taken careful notes during the interview incase the recorder did not work but when I replayed it I relized the many subtle points that I had no time to jot down.
