This recorder is excellent. I use it to record a college class that I take via video teleconference and I have had zero problems with this recorder. The sound from the professor comes over speakers in the room, and this little recorder captures the sound perfectly. I do put it in the front of the room because I put it by my laptop one time and it captured the sound of the fan turning on and off while the professor was talking, but I was still able to easily hear the professor on the recording.

I have large fingers and the buttons are very easy to use as they are laid out well, even though the recorder is quite small. The menu takes some getting used to, but once you know what you're doing, it's very easy to operate.

This was the only good recorder at a good price I could find that came with a dock that allows you to charge the batteries while they are in the recorder, which was one of the major selling points for me.

All in all, I'd recommend this digital voice recorder over any other in it's price range, and over most that are more expensive.
