I was looking forward to receiving this product since XM has had a version out for sometime. I think this version reflects a first effort and I might have been better served waiting for a second release. Signal cuts in and out even when I am wearing the dorky headphones with the built-in antenna and the display is difficult to read in the sunlight. If one were sitting in one place with a good signal this unit would be fine. The styling and interface are very nice but performance problems trump its cool features and design. My advice is to wait and let Sirius fix the problems before buying unless you only want to use the Wifi and sitting still reception.

Purchased this [...] as an impulse buy and overall satisfied with the purchase. Sound is pretty good when using the home kit but the radio needs to be pretty near to your sound system. I don't use the car kit, but as portable, never had problems using it while commuting or walking and i work in the loop. The headphones are a bit bulky, and dorky but make a definite improvement on the reception while on the go. You don't need the headphones for portable if you are out in the like a park or out in the yard as long has the unit has a clear view of the sky, but will if you are on the metra, or don't ave a clear view. The recording feature works great and although the unit has 2 gigs of space, it only allows you to load up a small fraction of your own music. But if you record blocks like me, you'll always have something to listen to and it allows you to skip by song on your recorded blocks as well in case you don't like a song recorded.

My only big problem is the internet feature. It works great if it connects, but this unit is only compatible with wireless "B" connectivity, most of the hot spots downtown use wireless "g" which means it won't work in them. Furthermore, the quality is not as good on the internet connection, but per sirius customer service you can fix that sound quality by upgrading your account for $3.00 a month for CD sound quality on the internet and it is supposed to work with the stiletto and all the radios on your account.

Overall, great unit, good recording features, good quality when live, works well when able to connect on the internet and easy to use.

Battery gets a little warm when portable, internet sound quality not the greatest without the upgraded sound through sirius, and if you are using anything but wireless "B" to connect to the internet, don't count on it working

Absolutely a great product. Was worry about the portable satellite reception; however the reception and the sound is great. And I could simply switch to the Internet reception at home. Highly recommend to everyone thinking about getting the product. The only negative is the battery life span, compare to Ipod, however they provide a additional battery

Love it, the record and playback features are great and easy to maneuver. I love pausing live radio. The sound is fantastic too. Haven't useed the internet radio but I might not be able to where I am located. The stiletto is a very expensive product and the bare bones are all that came with it, with very short battery lives and the inability to listen to it plugged in while charging it.
