I use my camera on an almost daily basis to film digital short stories, personal events, and to compete in video contests. I needed a good head cleaning tape and I was able to find it at a much lower price here. Same exact quality that other big retailers have, except ABT had it at a much lower price.

The last video tape I used was stuck in my camera. Finally after repeatedly turning it off and on to eject, it came out. There was a message that the heads might need cleaning. I read a review at Best Buy on a non-brand name tape cleaner and the guy had a horrible experience. So, I decided to order the Canon brand. ABT had the best price. I put the tape in and fast forward and rewound. (oops didn't read directions that is in the cassette case that you are suppose to use it for a few seconds and never rewind so that you can use it again later.) Anyway, it worked and the camera is working fine!

My Canon XL-1 was recording split and banded frames. I did exactly what the instructions said and the video output is now perfect, as before. This cleaner may cost more than the cheapest on the market, but it worked the first time and I have ample cleaning tape left for regular cleanings in the future. You gets what you pays for.

My videocam was creating tapes with terrible jumps and skips. Finally figured out it needed cleaning, so bought the cleaning tape. Worked like a charm--now tapes are perfect! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. Seems high for a head cleaner.
