Just ordered this a few weeks ago. Installation was a breeze, and it's been working fine thus far. Only time will tell if the modem continues to be reliable but so far, so good!
One nice feature of this modem, btw, is that it has a sharp look, with a solid block shape, black color, and a netted texture. The lights of the modem look sharp against the body. Obviously not necessary but a nice plus if you care about that sort of thing.

Compact and easy to use. I did not need to install the software and my connection speed has been increased.

Easy setup. I had to (1) return the unit to the cable provider (2) call technical support to give them those tiny numbers in the back of the new unit. I have corrected 20-20 vision and still could not make out all the numbers with absolute certainty. One tip to read those small numbers is to take a digital picture and enlarge it. That worked!

Replaced Docsis 1.0 Cable Modem. Had to contact Comcast to provision Modem. Tech advised to leave Modem on 24/7. Download speed instantly increased 30% to 22 mbps. Upload speed doubled from 2 to 4 mbps on Comcast Performance Tier. Web pages loads are faster on both wired and wireless connections with no degradation on wireless.
ABT UPS delivery was only 2 days from Chicago to Atlanta, GA Will definitely use ABT again!

Replaced my Sb-5120 with this 6120, No difference. Really, new modem runs at 4.2 per speed test.Was it worth changing? I'm hoping that it might be worth it in the future. I bought it because Comcast called me and said they would bump my speed from 12mps to 22 mps (free)if I had a docsis 3.0 modem, that they would rent me for five bucks a month. I don't rent this type of equip. Don't buy as replacement, If you don't have a modem, then yes, buy this one

This modem replaced my Comcast modem. The setup instructions were clear. No problems with my Cisco E2000 router. Comcast tech support was able to get the modem up and running with ten minutes. I wish I had done this months ago. No more $5/mo to Comcast. This was an extremely easy swap and my tested speeds are slightly higher upload and download compared to the old Comcast cable modem. The most difficult thing was making the trip to the Comcast office to return their old equipment.

Since Comcast upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0 this modem became well worth the investment. On the standard tier, advertised at 15Mbps/3Mbps, I have tested downloads at 21Mbps & uploads at 8Mbps.

My old Motorola modem was dying after several years of use. I decided to get this modem because it meets the DOCSIS 3.0 standard. It seems to deliver the Internet at the same speed as my old 2.0 modem. Nonetheless, 3.0 might be handy in the future.
This modem works. The lights are pretty. What else can I say? A modem is something you shouldn't think about. I don't think about this one. So, I'm happy.

Replacing Motorola SURFboard SB4200 for upgrade to DOCSIS 2.0 and be ready for DOCSIS 3.0 when ISP moves to it.
I plugged it in, called my ISP for recognition and it was up and running. It has run with no apparent problems for almost a month. The Motorola cable modems have worked great for me. Motorola modems are sympatico with Macs so that is a selling point for me also.

Simple, easy to install up and running in 10 minutes once I called Comcast and gave MAC address. Consistently get speeds of 15mb down, 10mb up. Bonding on 4 channels. Nice upgrade.
