Toasters Toasters are very convenient, fast and easy to use. You
can find them in a wide range of colors and styles and they can even match
your kitchen and other small appliances. When you are choosing a toaster you should consider the
size of it. There are models with 2 and 4 slices. If you have a large
family, the 4 slices might be the one to go for. You should also consider
the amount of space that you have in the kitchen. When choosing the one with 4 slices you want to have a
feature called the "slot selector" that allows you to toast
only 2 slices at the time if you want to. If you also do bagels, thick bread or muffins make sure
that slots are wide enough for them to fit in. Some toasters offer the
"bagel" setting that will toast only on one side. Toasters usually have a feature where you can select how
dark you want your bread to be. They come with the crumb tray, which should
be easy to remove and clean and some might even offer "defrosting'
and "reheating". A bread lift is handy and good feature to have.
If you are worried about the safety consider a plastic
housing, which is less likely to retain heat and feel hot to fingers than
those made of metal. Considerations for all small appliances:
