Sony TechPit Coming To Abt Electronics

GLENVIEW, IL, JULY 1, 2004 - The Sony TechPit, a 60-by-80-foot mobile road show designed to give fans a frontrow seat for an interactive look at the latest products in home entertainment, digital imaging, and car audio and personal computing is coming to Abt Electronics in Glenview on July 10th & 11th. The show features a fast-moving sensory experience, giving fans the opportunity to interact with Sony products and to enjoy the thrills of WEGA televisions and home theater demonstrations in Dolby Digital™ surround sound. The exhibit will also include a display of the full line of Sony Handycam camcorders, computer-simulated races, and NASCAR racer Ryan Newman's Sony Dodge/Intrepid show car.

This technology event is traveling throughout the US and will be the only appearance in Chicago or the Midwest. Sony & Abt representatives will be on hand to explain the technology and answer questions. It will correspond with the NASCAR Tropicana 400 race taking place at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet over the weekend where Ryan Newman and the Sony race car will be participating.

This event is coming to Abt Electronics in Glenview on July 10th and 11th.

Sunday July 11th, 11am-5:30pm
