Viking Portable Griddle - SUPGD

we could have purchased other name-brand griddles for far less but went with the Viking brand because we wanted a griddle that would fit perfectly over two of our 6-burners Viking stove, which we inherited when we bought the house. I have nits to pick with ABT. There is no information at all on the website -- There are descriptions from customers that suggest the grill will cover two burners of a Viking stove...but apparently NOT the Viking stove we have. It is about an inch too narrow and an inch to two inches to short. The fittings on the end of the grill, apparently mean to help seat it properly on burners, do not work as intended because they are too short. So the grill sits somewhat askew on the stovetop. There are no instructions or diagrams on how to use the chrome frame, or even whether to us it on a regular stove-top. But mostly, the fact that the griddle is too small for our stove bothers me. There are no dimensions on the site -- none. ABT believes it is enough to cut and paste whatever the manufacturer provides, without asking, will this be useful to my customer? Or, what information does my customer need to make an intelligent decision? The grill itself is fine; no compaints there. We used the grill mostly for pancakes. It seems to spread heat evenly and well. The non-stick surface does make it easier to clean and seems strong. Even though it is a little short and a little narrow, we're keeping it as it is too much hassle to return. But, honestly, unless you know that this giddle will fit your Viking model perfectly, you can find other griddles for half the price, or even better.

Family cooking and very useful for breakfast and dinners.

This does not quite use all the space available over my grill plates, but still usable - breakfast is a cinch. not so good for fatty burgers, as the run-off tray is not that large.

We were worried that it would not fit in a standard 36" cabinet but it does without any trouble installing. This product is the only way to get top performing, 6-burner cook top without upgrading to custom cabinets.

Easy to use - great for making pancakes for the kids!

The product fits perfectly on the double burners.
