The ROKU "could be" PERFECT - if the would simply integrate SYSTEM WIDE volume control. Cord Cutters want a SIMPLE UNIFIED REMOTE (not be confused with the HORRID 60 button remotes tossed at you from SAT/CABLE companies). This is the 3rd ROKU we have owned. We have upgraded when the product line gets a full re-vamp. My top choices for my purchase were for a FAST PROCESSOR, better AUDIO and BETTER VIDEO. I feel "voice control" gadgets are still in the "almost works sometimes" phase of development. I don't use them, in that regard, worthless to me as a selling point. I am dismayed at the lack of a USB on my new ROKU, but I can network the stuff I need - so it's a bit more tedious, but not a deal breaker. I like the new remote, A more perfect remote would have programmable buttons. I am sure the Apps you see on these four buttons were sold to the highest bidders. So, charge your customer a few bucks more and gimme four programmable buttons...and please, don't edge toward the Apple model of business. The ROKU is wonderful because it can exist very well with ALL TV makes, models, and generations. Don't waste your money on a smart TV folks. By the best quality screen you can afford and buy a ROKU. It blows away every TV maker's "smart TV" hands down.

It really works well. Just doesn't seem to friendly. The video format on my TV changed. I liked the old way better, but maybe that is just me. The unit with the ear buds like I have does not send audio to the TV so you must use the ear buds to get any sound at all. If you are switching back and forth from ROKU to cable TV you are always changing the method for listening. ROKU is fantastic, but this new " + " version needs rethinking in the audio part of it.

Best Roku I have Owned.

Comments about Roku Premiere+ Streaming Media Player:
The speed with which things operate are wonderful. Roku is finally making products that are. A joy to use. I've owned Rokus since some of the very first and couldn't be happier this this generation. I hope the future brings an updated interface that is less child like. PS For those of you who are giving Roku a low rating based on a particular apps, please know that Roku does not make the interface for the apps.

Couldn't Be Happier With My Roku Premier+
from Santa Rosa, CA, United States
I've had my Roku Premier+ for more than a month and I watch TV every day. The features are awesome from the user friendly platform to the simple yet stealthy remote. I love how easy it was to set up and how the picture quality and sound is identical to cable TV.

I bought the Roku about a month ago and I like everything about it. The picture quality is very good.

Does the Roku premium plus has screen mirroring ?

Really impressed with the Premiere+. Performance is the first feature that comes to mind. If app loading time is a thing for you, then this model is a great buy. Quad-core processing and an Ethernet port have a little something to do with that and were two of the main selling points for me, since this device is serving as my "main Roku" in the living room. Another selling point is that it is 4K ready as soon as I am 4K ready and the up-scaling features for us poor souls that still live in 1080p land. The remote is very heavy-duty...I like that. I have kids/grand kids, so remotes get dropped, kicked, chewed on, and otherwise abused. I also love the "point anywhere" feature and the headphones for private listening is a bonus. If you need an optical audio output spring for the Ultra model. You'll also get a lost remote finder feature. Otherwise, the Premiere+ is the best model for the money in my opinion. I shopped it pretty hard (comparing models and competitors) and Roku is still the best. You will not be disappointed with the Premiere+

Works Just As We Hoped

This product allowed us to expand our television viewing choices. We are now paying so much less every month (Used ROKU to subscribe to Sling) than we had for years. We are still exploring what all we can do with ROKU but are extremely happy with the picture and sound since our tv is 4K SUHD.
