I've used this mixer for cookie batter, cakes, mashed potatoes so far and it has worked great. I especially love the big button to extract the beaters. Makes it so much easier. My husband loves how quiet it is in use.

This hand mixer is outstanding. It is so quiet you can hear tv while mixing.

I never had my own hand mixer before and I looked into getting the countertop Kitchen Aid, but I don't have room for it. This mixer is the best alternative if you don't have room for the larger mixer. It works great! Quiet, clean and powerful! Would recommend it to anyone!

I have only used this mixer for brownies so far, and it worked great. I love it because it starts very slow & ingredients don't spill out of the bowl like on my previous mixers. This is the first mixer I have found that starts slow enough, so this makes me extremely happy. I also like the clean touch controls, as they work great!

This is a great product! I have struggled trying to find a mixer that had a low speed - one that really worked on low and wouldn't blow dry ingredients all over the place. I love my new mixer and would highly recommend it.

This mixer does cake and cooki dough with ease. Sometimes it is hard to use a big, heavy stand mixer and this mixer is a fine substitute.

I purchased this mixer just a couple weeks ago because it was advertised as having enough power to mix bread dough. I have used it once for mixing a gluten free mix with no problem. I did keep it on speed 1, as I didn't realize it was recommended to use the dough hooks attachments. I'll have to purchase these from KitchenAid. The bread still turned out fine, and didn't seeem to need anything more. I also mixed a gluten free cake mix and am happy with the way it turned out as well. The motor is very quiet and is so much nicer than my old low powered mixer. When I order my dough hooks, I plan to also purchase a pro whisk attachment for fluffier whipped cream and egg whites, and smooth sauces and puddings. Originally, I was going to buy a bread maker. I think this is much easier to store, the price is right,and I don't need to get replacement parts when problems occur, as with a breadmaker.

I stripped out my old mixer with cookie dough, but this new mixer does't even slow down. Only nit-pickin' thing about this mixer is trying to store. The sleek design won't let the cord stay wrapped around the mixer. Could not ask for a much better product.

I tried it out with a really thick cookie dough. Usually I need to hand mix the oatmeal into this dough, but this small mixer was powerful enough to mix it all. It took awhile because of the size, but mixed very well

I was so surprised at how quiet the mixer runs. It's nice being able to give instructions for my daughter while we are baking that she can actually hear. My daughter is also not afraid to use it since it is quiet. I've waited about 2 years to buy one and wish I wouldn't have waited so long.

My last hand mixer was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. This Kitchenaid is unbelievably quiet. Powerful enough to get the job done, not quite as powerful as I had hoped.

Great Product!

I bought this product to help me mix the dough for oatmeal cookies. If you've ever made them you know how thick that dough gets and how difficult it is to mix, especially by hand. This mixer made it so quick and easy it was unbelievable. I got so excited I had to use it to make some of my other favorites, nut breads, muffins, etc. If you buy this product, you will not be disappointed.

I had this same product for many years until it quit working and could not wait to find another. Price was excellent.

This is a basic for any home baker.

I love it. It is powerful, yet quiet. Beaters can be tough to get released, but that will probably get easier over time. I am very happy with my purchase.

GREAT MIXER

Got tired of cheapie hand mixers that conk out within a year or two, so I decided that, being retired with the kids grown, there's no reason to scrimp any more. Consumer Reports rated this one highly, so I bought it. No regrets. Love the beaters!

I've only used the mixer for a few things. It works great, the beaters don't clog at all. It never splatters.I typically only spend [$] on a hand mixer but got tired of cleaning the crud out of them and they never lasted more then a year or so of casual use. This is worth the price, it's easy to clean and it feels really durable but not heavy.My only issue (and it's minor) is that the control pad fit-and-finish isn't at the level I would expect from Kitchenaid.

I have just recieved the mixer and it has performed very well, like other KitchenAid products I use. It is my first hand mixer and I'm just trying new uses to avoid using my stand mixer so much. It whips small volumes very well.

I do love my KitchenAid hand mixer, but was a little disappointed when I saw the same item on [...]with more attachments and less money. Of course it was after I purchased from ABT. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

I use this for all small jobs when there is no need to use the stand mixer. Just whipping one egg white, for example. VERY quiet. I really like the whisk attachment.

I Love it, although I also have a Kitchen Aid Ultra power for the big jobs.

I have an earlier Kitchenaid hand mixer. This one is a vast improvement. The digital speed control is terrific and the power is improved. I used it to mix dense cookie dough and it cut right through without slowing down. I would definitely buy it again!!

Great for everyday use. Seems to be very well built and should last for quite a while.

I use my hand mixer for all my recipes that call for using a mixer. It works great even with thick cookie dough. It's also very quiet.

Works quite well for general cooking and baking. Has easy, intuitive operating controls. Slow speed good to fold in dry ingredients. High speed whips up cream quickly.

Nice mixer, the only problem is not real heavy duty as far as mixing. But, then again, if I wanted heavy duty I should've gone with the stand-up mixers. All in all, good product

So far the product is exactly what it was described to be. I don't use a mixer a lot but when I do I need one that works. This one works.

I have a large stand mixer that I use for bread making but I dislike getting it out for those quickies. I used my mother's old hand mixer which only had 2 speeds, clanky beaters and a frayed cord. My husband bought me the 7 speed Kitchen Aide and I use it all the time with great pleasure. I no longer have eggs all over the wall.

This is the 4th KitchenAid mixer that I have purchased. I originally purchased one many years ago. I liked it so much that I purchased one for my mother and recently purchased one for my daughter's 1st household. I replaced my old one because I just HAD to have the model that came out in pink![...]

It was a gift for my goddaughter who so loved my Empire Red Kitchen Aid stand mixer when she visited this summer. She was so excited to have one for herself but more suited to her needs.I gave it to her before Christmas so she could make the cookies she wanted to give as gifts for her friends!
