If you are an owner of a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, this product is a great kitchen addition. First, it uses the power of your mixer to power the juicer so no fruit stands a chance. This also allows you to process alot of fruit with out tiring out your hand or emptying the small container that comes on many stand alone juicers. Because it has no power cord or motor to content with it is very simple to clean, just dishwasher and done. Just love it.

It may look neat, but that is all!

It took me 10 minutes to attach to stand mixer. I juiced one orange and knew right than that juicing a bushel of oranges would take forever with this attachment. Removed it immediately, washed and put it back in the box. I thought that being a Kitchen Aid product, it would be a great enhancement to the stand mixer; however, I was totally disappointed and recommend you buy an ordinary juicer.

Comes apart in four pieces. The metal shaft is not dishwasher approved by KitchenAid. The pulp tray is relatively small and shallow and so must be emptied fairly often.

But does it juice? Yes, it juices!

The product fits well, it is just that a vertical juice extractor is not the way to go. You must push the orange in with one hand and hold the back of the mixer to get enough pressure for the extraction to work. Pushing down is far better than push back. It is not that there is a lack of strength on my part. I am 6'5" and 315 lbs. I will be ordering a Breville Citrus Press Orange Juicer 800CPXL

This is a great Stand Mixer attachment. Extract citrus juice with very little effort and it gets every bit of juice out of the fruit. You must empty the pulp tray often as it does a great job of catching all of the pulp.
