BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Product works great. I love the convenience of the 6 discs in a compact size siutable for a home system. Be sure and check the depth of your cabinet. I pre checked width and height for my cab space, but didn't check depth. Unit is deeper than the 5 disc onkyo I replaced and I had to make some minor adjustments.

very easy to set up and use out of the box. repplaced an old sony 5 disc changer tha had become unreliable. one thing i miss from the sony is more options to randomly shuffle songs

Only 3 weeks, but have 2 other Onkyo products over the last 8 years and I can honestly say they have exceeded my expectations. At this point would buy again, wanted 'weekend jukebox' that would not skip and play mp3's. So far so good. [...]
