This is a great range
from Boston area, MA
I have been very happy with this range since the day we bought it to replace another GE product. I was leery at first of all the bells and whistles (more things to go wrong), but the performance has been wonderful.
Glass top cracked.
from Morrison, CO, USA
Last summer my wife was cooking soup. No liquids at all on the top, No one even close to it. We were across the room when we heard it pop. The glass cracked across the front right burner. Very expensive to replace the glass top. Always been very careful to use the recommended cleaners and pot/pans. very disappointed.
Disappointed in this range.
from New Providence, Pa
Upon seeing this range is no longer manufactured I wonder if others are disapointed as well. To begin with, I had trouble baking many things with the bottom oven, everthing would be done on the outside but not the middle, I chalked it up to me just getting used to it.After 6 months of agonizing with this I talked to my dealer, they sent a man to calibrate the oven. Low and behold it is 24 degrees off. No wonder I have not been doing well, can you imagine the difference that would make. Perhaps all ovens should be calibrated to make sure, but then who would think a new oven would be so wrong. To say the least I am so very disapointed in GE, what could be done to make this right? And that others would not suffer the same fate.
