I've had two BP6BK towers as my fronts in my primary home theater setup now for several months. Although they are the smallest bipolar towers manufactured by Definitive Technology, the sound is still impressive. They are mated to Yamaha's new 663 receiver (and indirectly to a Sony 301 Blu-ray). Although the speakers are still going through the break-in period, it can be stated that the sound is pure delight.

The highs are crystal clear but not screeching and the mids are clear and concise without overpowering the highs. The bass is adequate, considering the size and cost of the speaker system, but I also knew that I would be adding a sub-woofer. I added a Hsu Research VTF-1 and now the system sounds great (the crossover is set at 80hz). Rock, classical, swing and soft jazz, all sound realistic, as if you are in the recording studio, if not in the concert arena.

Note that these are bipolar speakers that reflect sound off the rear wall; therefore they should be placed 4-5 inches forward. Take note if your room is space-challenged.

I am using the PB6BKs as rear speakers with BP7004s and a DT Center 1000 on the front. This is as close to perfection for a reasonable price as you can get.

These speakers are look great and sound great. Using these with the Definitive Technologies Pro-Center 1000 and Pro-Monitor 1000 speakers.

I would highly recommend these speakers.

I was very cautions when purchasing these BP6BK Definitive Technology Speakers. Having never before heard of the brand I did countless Google searches to see positive and negative reviews. If you look up reviews on just about anything you will find some negative results, to my extreme surprise I was unable to find anything really negative about these speakers, I know see why.

the 3 tweeters add to the sound of beautiful high frequency sound. of course, i also have a subwoofer to contribute to the bass sound. but to hear string instruments beautifully is perfect. the sleek look of speakers are modern and add a look of class.

i got these for rear surround,better than getting the PMON1000 with stands.big speakers give you big sound.

Great Price/Performance ratio. That said: hard to connnect speaker cable, sound is a little too bright, and you still need a sub-woofer for bone-rattling bass
