Nice addition to kitchen. Cooks well with timed features. Not as deep as the one I replaced. Had to throw out 2 cookie sheets that are now too long. Measure first.

This was the ONLY gas wall oven available on the market that would fit in the cutout in my kitchen, so my choices were to either purchase this GE oven or completely remodel my entire kitchen. That being said, I obviously opted to purchase this oven. I've had 4 other ovens that have fit in this exact same wall space, so I'm familiar with the capacity and performance of these types of gas wall ovens. This is my first GE, however. Prior models have all been Maytags (the control panels continued to fail). My oven was only recently installed. Temperature appears to be off (low), as I do have an accurate oven thermometer. Manual indicates this will level off. Not too pleased about that from the get go. Also not pleased with the 3-step process to turn the oven on to bake at a temperature other than 350: Bake + temperature change on the keypad + Start. Since I also own a GE microwave, this is much more complicated than that touchpad, which is a 1- or 2-step process to begin cooking. I purchased this oven sight unseen because it was my only choice. Nowhere in the oven specs were the interior capacity dimensions listed. I'll let everyone know what they are: bottom rack to max top of food placement in height: 9"; width: 15 1/2"; depth from front to back: 15 3/4". This is a large toaster oven! None of my cookie sheets fit, my turkey roasting pan doesn't fit -- you get the idea. Again, I would not have accumulated these baking pans if I couldn't use them in my oven, and I did in previous models. But not in THIS one. Bottom line: in my opinion, this is an oven for occasional cooks. I chuckled at one of the pictures in the manual showing 2 pies on one oven rack. Perhaps two 8-inch pies would fit, but not any larger sizes, as I've tried two 9-inch plates and they touched the walls, which is taboo according to the manual. If you are a serious cook, I believe you'll be disappointed with this oven. Learn about how versatile your gas grill can be and you'll be very happy.

It is a great little oven. I have not had any problems with it. I use the drawer at the bottom for pot holders and kitchen towels, very handy.
Great features! Like the way it cooks.

I bought this a few months ago, but wish it would have been a gas double oven.

I bought this built-in oven in February. It is just beautiful. I love the self-cleaning feature which I never had in 60 years of baking and cooking. I am so happy with it that I show friends my new treasure when they visit me.

Not the oven for any kind of real cook
from Spring, TX
I purchased this wall oven simply because it was the only model available on the market that would fit the wall cut out in my existing kitchen. Since I did not want to undergo an extensive remodel and I did not have an outlet for an electric oven, this was my only choice. With interior dimensions that measure bottom rack to max top of food placement in height: 9"; width: 15 1/2"; depth from front to back: 15 3/4" this unit is no larger than a really big toaster oven. I have had multiple other ovens in this same cutout (but due to control board failures, the ovens would need to be replaced). None of my existing cookie sheets or baking pans (for Thanksgiving turkeys, for example) will fit as they did in the past. I have learned to utilize my gas grill for cooking meat and only use this unit for baking single pies and small batches of cookies. My oven thermometer registers that it's sometimes accurate to set temperature and sometimes it is not. Completely unreliable when you're baking -- as roasting allows you variations on temperatures but baking does not. I've experienced utter disasters with tried-and-true recipes that I've baked for years -- but not in THIS oven. While it does operate, as a cook and baker, I could not be more dissatisfied, especially for the amount of money that I paid for the unit and for its installation.
