Great for the garage, shelves could be a bit sturdier to hold 12 oz bottled beverages, but cans are no problem. Very light weight, in fact, the door seal holds so tight that you have to hold the fridge with your other hand to open it, otherwise the entire unit moves on you. Door shelves are kind of flimsy. Still though, this thing is designed for outdoor use, worth the money.

I realize it's a [$] refrigerator, but I'm still very disappointed that the shelves have limited ajustment. A galon of milk could not fit on any of the shelves in the refrigerator. Also, on the door, the front of the shelves are very flimsy

We are using this refrigerator for the garage. We have a large family and always have family parties. You can fit A LOT in it. We have mostly beverages in it but it also can fit large platters and bowls. The door shelves are a little shallow, so it would be better if they were deeper and the plastic going across was a little sturdier. We would highly recommend this refrigerator!

When it first hit my eyes on the internet sight of Abt, I couldn't believe what I was looking at. But, there it was, an ingenious, practical, addition to a busy kitchen area. The Fridge, not to be confused with that champion Chicago Bears lineman of yesteryear, now produces a cooling area for larger quantities of bottles, cans of various sizes, display areas for watermelon, cantaloupe and other fruits and veggies as well as all the other foodstuffs that need to keep their cool. And, it looks gorgeous standing right next to the standup freezer unit. Beyond dreams!
