Offering Five Matching Front, Surround, and Center Speakers, this 5.1 Channel Micro Satellite Speaker System boasts features like 120 Watt Maximum Power Handling (Front, Center, Surround), Dual 2 1/4" Drivers with 1" Voice Coils, a Nano-FineŽ Balanced Dome Tweeter Rated to 50 kHz, a Subwoofer that includes an RCA Input and High Level Inputs (Speaker Inputs), and a 135 Watt Amplified Subwoofer (6 ohms, 20-200 Hz, 0.8% THD). Additional features include a Gloss Finish on the Satellite Speakers, an Advanced SAW Bass Reflex Subwoofer Design, and a Movie/Music Switch (Subwoofer). Auto Power On/Off (Subwoofer), Audio (RCA) and Speaker Cables, and a Pedestal Stand for the Center Channel Speaker are also included. Today's discrete digital surround formats are able to reproduce the same sound throughout every speaker. If a variance in speaker drivers, crossover settings, or driver material occurs from one speaker to the next, the pitch and surround illusion can suffer. Sony speakers are designed using matching driver compliments and crossovers to ensuring that perfect blending occurs from front to rear and center.
    Demonstration Hint:
    When possible, point out the complimentary design of the satellite speakers. Show and describe the similar driver elements and use a surround movie that uses active panning (sound that travels from speaker to speaker).
