I like to play the trumpet,not a pro but play Ok and sit in with other musicians occasionally.I burn some CD's and the Sony Silver Boom Box does a fine job reproducing the sound.Definitely impressed with it's quality.

As a self-employed business owner, I rarely have time to sit and enjoy my music collection. This Sony model has amazing sound for such a small unit. It is so easy to operate that I find myself using it more often than turning on the receiver, CD player and adjusting all the components to finally get the music. Plus, if you want to go to another room or outside on the patio, you can take your music with you. I wish I purchased one sooner.

Had mine 2yrs no problems. Got it cause its not as heavy as my X-PLOD! Use it out on the padio while were in the pool. Totally COOL Dudes![...]

Good sound but big and heavy

I'm using it in my class room. Fortunately I have the opportunity to store it right there. Otherwise, it's pretty heavy and big to carry over. However, sound is great, dynamics are perfect. Easy to manipulate. Overall it is good product.

Great Boom Box !!!

My previous Boom Box didn't have enough power and didn't read copied CDs. This one is just great. We use it at the dance studio and now I bought one to have also at home. Love it!

Great design but low on connectivity

Clear, carrying audio

Although I bought it to hear tapes in my car, this boombox is excellent for the home, too. Remarkable sound that carries through the house. The triple set of controls for the CD/cassette/radio, however, could be more user-friendly.
