Broan Trash Compactor, Model 1050L

They easily crush bottles and cans that cause problems for other machines. These powerful units compress a full 14 average garbage bags of refuse into one easy-to-handle compactor bag: 65 percent more trash than the leading competitor.

It�s easy to match your kitchen decor with the reversible door panels or by inserting your own 1/4" x 11-11/16" x 20-7/8" wood or laminate panel. The panels simply slide out. This compactor comes with a black control panel insert, storage compartment door and foot pedal latch. Includes black and biscuit door panel.

I am less than exstatic about this compactor. However, it is the second one I have owned. (Apparently, I consistently overpacked the contents in the first one until the gears stripped and the impactor would not return to the up position.) I was unable to find a better replacement value. Fussing with the bag installation is a minor problem...as long as my wife does not have to do it.
