The TV4 low-profile antenna is a perfect set-top antenna for use in urban or suburban areas. TV4 combines a high-performance antenna with a low-profile design that fits on top of any television, and even fits inside most TV cabinets. TV4 features TERK�s unique. Complementary Symmetry technology, incorporating a pair of tuned receiving elements for excellent reception range and clarity. More stations, less adjustment. This revolutionary Terk design allows the antenna to stand less than 43/4 inches high while delivering outstanding reception. Unlike the frustrating trial and error method of adjusting conventional antennas, a simple rotation obtains optimum reception. TERK�s indoor television antennas are engineered with premium materials resulting in a durable, high-performance antenna that will look great on any TV for years to come.

I like it b/c its way better than the old rabbit ears i have. I was able to pull in quite a few digital channels but still hv to adjust the antenna a bit but its better than nothing at all when i am not paying for cable service so i am glad. i am in queens new york, hope this will be useful info for some ppl. [...]

Although the product seems well made[...], I get terrible reception with this antenna. I live within the city limits of Portland, Maine and only get good reception on one channel. I wish I'd saved the packaging so that I could exchange it for the amplified model.

Analog reception solid; digital is great

We own an older analog 13 inch TV. We also recently purchased a new non-HD 24 inch tube TV. We previously had an indoor non-amplified antenna on the 13 in. analog TV which we have replaced with the amplified indoor Terk TV 4. Analog reception has greatly improved. We bought another TV 4 for our new 24-inch analog/digital non-HD TV, and hoped it would do a good job with digital channel reception. So far it is doing an outstanding job with all available digital channels. As a family accustomed to analog picture quality, we were stunned to see a clear digital TV picture in our home for the first time. Based on the TV's internal signal meter, this antenna does its job well. P.S. Our broadcast towers are 8 miles away. We live on a street with tall trees. The TV's are both on the ground floor of a two-flat.

Rabbit ears are obsolete.

Terk's bowtie style antennas are the only indoor antennas that really work. Toss the nifty fifties rabbit ears and get a TV4!

It is being used in a nursing home and the shape is perfect for the setting. It does not fine tune well while pulling in signal through concrete block walls.

I will buy this product again.

This antenna is an excellent value. It is more attractive than rabbit ear type antennas and picks up all local TV stations without any adjusting. The unit was shipped overnight from abt for no charge.

Decent performance for local HD channles

Pulls in local stations well in both the VHF and UHF bands. I was even able to pickup the local ABC-HD channel which is a real challenge in my area. Good performance for a reasonalbe price. The antenna rotates allowing you to maximize signal strength.
