I've had this dishwasher for a few years now and am still happy with it. My only quibble is that it is somewhat noisy. However, it cleans beautifully and has enough built in wash options to make it quite versatile. The only issue I had beyond the noise was some leaking around the gasket -- after 3 years -- which was fixed by simply washing the gasket. A great, inexpensive, attractive machine.

Alot of extras for the money. First time I used it the soap dispenser did not open. I realized it may open off temperature. Second time I ran the hot water in the sink for a short time then turned it on and the soap dispenser worked fine. Anyone who may have this problem. If you don't use your water alot.( I also have a well) You may have to run the hot water in your sink to get it going hot. I do think the dispenser opens when the hot water hits a certain temperature. Cleans great!! very quite I can stand next to it and talk on my cell phone. Another hint also the white blanket that the dishwasher has around it.. is the installation... NOT packinag material. I had a friend whose husband threw it away thinking it was to keep it from moving around in the box. LOL
Pros: Cleans Well, Quiet, Attractive Design, Easy To Install, Easy To Load
Best Uses: Larger Kitchens, Smaller Kitchens, Pots and Pans, General Purpose

This is a decent dishwasher for the price. It gets the dishes clean. If you leave the silverware basket on the door, they may not dry. If anyone thinks this dishwasher is quiet, they must of had some really bad ones in the past. I had a 17 yr old Kenmore that was more quiet. This model is loud (platic inside not metal). Very loud right after the main wash cycle (grinding sound). If you are on a budget, it is worth buying. If your washer is near a TV, forget about hearing the TV.
Best Uses: General Purpose
Pros: Multiple Settings, Price, Easy To Load, Large Capacity
Cons: Noisy

I like everything about this washer but one thing --the silverware container is on the inside of the washer door. This gives more room for dishes and the silverware is very clean after washing but the door is heavy when opening and closing the machine. I suppose I'll get used to this feature but I didn't realize that this would be the case before my purchase.
Pros: Fast Cycle, Large Capacity, Quiet, Multiple Settings
Cons: Silverware on door
Best Uses: Smaller Kitchens, Larger Kitchens

Dishwasher gets used every other day and is performing well. Does not dry as well as I would like, but it is only the slight bowling on top of stemware and cups that may have a little water in them. What we really like are the cycle choices and how quiet this unit is.

This dishwasher is great. It saves energy, yet it's powerful. On top of that it is quiet. My dishes are always clean, due to the lower and upper spray arms. I have no complaints.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I've never used a dishwasher before, so take the comments from that perspective. The machine is not very loud and does not interefere with me in that way. Silverware and cups have some spots, but I don't know if this is the actual machine's fault. Some heavy duty dirty plates, semi-dried food can be a bit trobulesome on plates and silverware, but not catastrophic, and there are no problems if you properly rinse the plates first. Definitely good for the money.

I love it - we upgraded form a dishwasher about which the Abt installer said "I've never seen one of this brand before" so anything was bound to be better, but this unit is great. The delay setting is wonderful as our kitchen is next to our TV room and the lock feature ensures that my little one can't start it unexpectedly. Best of all -everything comes out clean, clean, clean!
