Omnimount TV Top Shelf Mount - CCH1B

I use this tv top shelf to support a cable box and DVD player. It is not not flimsy like most shelves of this type and looks good.

Have a 34 inch flat screen, conventional Phillips. This worked perfectly for holding the VCR and DVD player.

I thought some parts were missing, until I started to unscrew the legs. [...]

This TV top shelf was purchased for my mother-in -law. She is in a nursing home with very limited space....this was perfect and practical.

This product does not fit my 52" LCD tv. I just bought the tv and ordered this shelf before I ever took the tv out of the box. My tv is 4" deep with a flat back and there is no way this shelf will fit. This was designed for DLP and CRT tv's only, not LCD. 3 stars because the product feels sturdy and would probably work great on a deeper tv set.

This shelf is *almost* perfect. The front pegs could use some sort of foam/rubber to keep from scratching your television and the sticky pads shipped could do a better job, but those are very minor complaints. I liked this product so much I ordered a second. If you want to place components on top of your television this is the item to buy!

this product clears up a lot of clutter and need for more audio furniture.

This shelf fit perfectly on top of my large screen tv. The adjustable legs with sticky pads makes it very secure for my surround sound middle speaker.

Have a Polk center channel speaker that just didn't fit in my old TV stand and many of the ones I looked at online wouldn't have accommodated it either. So I ran into this option, bought it, set it up pretty easily, and the room is back in order. It fits well on my 50" DLP. ABT had the best price and it was shipped very fast.

Cool trick that others have mentioned. You can assemble it upside down and use the front lip to hold on to the TV instead of those two pegs. I'm using it so support an Axiom Audio VP150 V2 center channel, which weighs in at nearly 22 lbs. It stays put and doesn't wobble at all. I'll probably buy another one to put the DVD player on top!

The Omni center stand was tricky to assemble but rewording when done. Looks good and hold well the speaker. One thing is that the front pins chrome color did not went well with the set so I covered is with back shrink tube. I wish the solution was part of the kit. I recommend it.

I love this stand for projection size tvs. I bought two projection sets that I love a few years ago and only bought one stand. I am now buying another stand for the 2nd tv. This solves the problem of where to put components and speakers on that type of set.

Base for center channel speaker above DLP TV

This shelf will not fit all TVs. I have a Sony 27" CRT TV where the pitch of the back was such that the back shelf legs wouldn't fit (too long). I got around the problem by using two of the square holes at the rear edge of the shelf instead of the holes provided.

It is a pretty simple product. Shelf for top of TV, but it solved a space problem for me.

The front pegs may be too long for some TVs and get in the way of the screen, but they work fine on my Samsung DLP. Does a good job holding my center speaker.

Does just what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price. You hardly know that it's there because of the sleek design.

I have a sony SXRD LCOS TV which is a rear projection TV similar to DLP, but with a different lamp type. The problem with these types of TV is that they have steep backs and finding a set top shelf can be difficult. This shelf works perfectly and sits well on top of the Television, it sturdy enough to hold a bit of weight and looks good. The only problem is that the instruction manual is more confusing then it needs to be. It took about 30 minuets to set up. My advice is use the foam pads as they will help ensure it doesn't slip. Also before you screw everything in completely take it to the TV and see how long you need the legs to be and what wholes they should go in, that way you wont have to completely disassemble it and reassemble it like i did.

It isn't an eyesore! It is the only product of this type that I could find in a platinum finish. I overlooked it at first because of the price and I didn't think it was meant to hold my dvd player on top of my tv. After searching online for a while, and only finding ugly tv shelfs, I went back to this one and read more about it. It took a little longer than I expected to install, but I suppose that is to be expected being that every tv is different. Blends in great with my tv and dvd player.

IT WAS JUST EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. IT WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE & INSTALL. PERFECT FOR WHAT I WAS TRYING TO COMPLETE.

The Omnimount was easy to assemble. It does not fit on my TV so that the TiVo box is level (the provided legs are too long), but it is a lot better than what I had been using (a roll of tape to hold the box off the TV). The appearance is not great, but it is a lot better than some of the other similar products I looked at. The steel construction is much better than the fiberboard or composite material of similar products.

THE SET SCREW THAT TIGHTEN'S UP THE TELESCOPING LEGS CAN EASLY CRACK IF YOU OVER TIGHTEN, WHICH I DID BUT OMNIMOUNT SET ME A NEW SET, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. VERY SATISFIED

Least clunky looking of all the cable box / vcr platforms that I found. high quality. Wish they made something similar for locating the cable box below the tv, but all I could find was cheap plastic laminate or wood shelves for that. i would recommend this.
