Even with the extended battery, the Z kind of swims around in this case. This makes it awkward to carry since I'm not quite sure if I have a good hold on it.

I bought this because it was inexpensive compared to the leather solutions and because it looked durable, however it is loose and sloppy fitting on the Z series. Maybe as people say, it is a better fit with an extended battery... I do't know, but I don't recommend it for the standard battery.

I would rate this case a solid 4+. My only disappointment was that it doesn't fit the vaio z quite as nicely as I expected (as it is smaller than most traditional 13.3 in notebooks). However, this is good in some ways, as it fits the extended battery rather nicely. I like the idea of having a separate case for the adapter.

the great thing about this case is that it stretches so it fits the notebook with the large capacity battery

the only downside i can think of is that particles of dust tend to stick over time.

It fit my son's small Sony VAIO with the extended battery. He specifically wanted a sleeve rather than a case so he understood it was light protection. He carries the laptop in his backpack. He tried out two sleeves and chose this one because it had the double zippers which made it easier to close. I cautioned him to make sure the zippers didn't scratch so he was careful to check that.
