  1. *: Normal temperature (23 degrees C ±2 degrees C/73 degrees F ±3.6 degrees F), normal relative humidity (50±20%), with the LCD monitor on, alternating shots at 30 second intervals with the flash fired once every two shots and the camera power turned off after every tenth shot. Power is left off until battery returns to normal temperature, then the power is turned back on and the testing procedure is repeated (CIPA standard).

    I will only use a canon battery with my camera. I have had other brands and they do not hold their charge as long as my canon. When traveling, I depend on the back-up battery because we were not always close to where I could recharge my original one

      This battery performs as expected in our Canon SD400 elph. So far it has held a charge and is giving us a lot of photos per charge.It is far better than the Lenmar batteries that we had in the past that even when new wouldn't hold a charge for very long.

        I recommend this Canon rechargeable battery for my digital camera. It lasts longer than the generic counterpart. I have both the proprietary and generic rechargeable batteries, but when I lost the Canon battery during my vacation, I didn't want to replace it with another generic, rechargeable battery for my SD300.
