I'm very pleased with this product. I've had excellent results with the food items that I've made over the first month of owning it. I was also very pleasantly surprised at the low level of noise of the machine...it's much quieter than my regular household blender, and obviously much more versatile.

I don't cook for a living but I studied French cooking when I was much younger. I really enjoy being creative in the kitchen. I never thought I'd give up my 20-year-old Cuisinart let alone switch brands. The positive reviews on this machine are accurate. The space-saving smaller bowl option eliminates my need for a second, smaller machine, which I welcome. Both chopping blades do an impressive job. I always had a few big chunks left in the Cuisinart bowl. Not so with this machine. I don't have counter space to leave the machine out so putting it away has its challenges. This machine is about 15% larger than my former Cuisinart. The ad photos are deceiving. I'd be concerned if the machine wasn't heavy. You need extra space for the accessory box. It's always a pain to figure out where to store these things. Cuisinart offers much longer warranties (some models come with 20 years) and this gave me some concern. Even with its great price, one year on this Kitchen Aid is unacceptable, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Let's hope I never have to worry about the warranty or any need for service. Btw, I love shopping at ABT. [...]

I have owned for 2 months and so far, only have made post workout smoothies. This machine blends everything perfectly. Easy to clean, just add water and a little soap. Blend for 30 seconds, rinse and dry. Have owned many Kitchenaid products, and have never been disappointed. I think this blender will last a long time and be used a lot.

I bought this to replace my old KitchenAid food processor. They've improved upon an already great design. The feed tube is wider and the bowl opens upward, so it's a lot easier to get food in and out of it. I am not a "gadget" person and loathe giving up valuable counter space, but this appliance is worth the real estate. I highly recommend it.

My 15 yr old Hamilton Beach food processor was 'chain' driven; sounded like playing card slapping the spokes of a bicycle. What a joy this new KitchenAid food processor is to use. Versatile, powerful FAST and QUIET. I still have to be careful not to over-process. Although it says diswasher safe - I still prefer to wash the bowls and blades in the sink. I love to cook and now even moreso thanks to this fantastic KitchenAir food processor.

Actually she loved the gift, JUST NOT AT CHRISTMAS! I guess it's a 'girl' thing but it's a really nice, top of the line processor, at a great price. I just got beaten up because its not a "Christmas Gift"!!! So she says!!! So I say "when is a good time to give you a processor you asked for"? And Wifey says "364 days a year will do, JUST NOT AT CHRISTMAS".You be the judge....
