Previous to purchasing this product my room-mate and I had searched around to find a suitable TV Stand for our 32" Sony Wega TV. We had settled on [...] a reputable maker. We set it up and installed everything. The warranty information stated that it could hold up to 240lbs on it's top shelf. Our system weighs atmost 170lbs with everything in it (we placed nothing else on the TV stand for the weeks we had it). Two weeks pasted and it started to slump in the middle. Three weeks later and it looked like pancaked roadkill. There was a 2" sag from the top in the middle. We returned it. We've had the SU32FS2 stand for alteast two weeks now, and have loaded it down with DVD players, DVDs, DVRecorder, game cube, and it hasnt sagged. It's a beautiful addition to our living room. The design of this stand is ... perfect. All the little nooks and spaces are measured exactly to fit most common appliances, DVDs, or just about anything else that might be useful. It's scary the amount of detail that went into this design. Plus, our TV slipped right into the grove making the stand/tv look like one complete unit. Also, setup was easy, I've made a lot of furniture in my time and again and again im surprised by how little your given in the way of instructions, parts, tools, etc... Sony seemed to know exactly what to give you. Set up took around 30 minutes (including putting the TV ontop of the stand) and was one of the easier builds I've done. No difficult locking screws, no nails, no unreable instructions, no need for a 3rd hand, no glue, and SOLID construction. Sony managed to eliminate everything from the TV install that usually takes loads of time and frustration. The only minus to this system was the fact that I didnt buy it first. I wasted a lot of time and effort on a lesser stand and learned to regret it. Spend the extra twenty or thirty dollars and get the stand that goes with the TV. It's worth it!

This is the best stand for this TV, PERIOD!!!!

Matched the TV colour well and is the official SONY product, so it was good all round
