BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

We use these for a portable DVD player, so cannot comment on pure audio use. It is a very good value for this as it produces good sound a blocks out ambient noise. A bit bulky for airplane travel. Also cannot comment on durability at this point.

Headphones were to use with my Sony 19" TV in bedroom. It hasn't got a volume control, all else great.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The fit around the ears is not good. It sounds just like a sea shell sounds when you put it to you ear. I does not shut out any outside noise.

Well worth the money

Since I live in an apartment building I like to be considerate of my neighbors. I use these for tv late at night and love them. The long cord makes it nice. I don't like wireless headphones(too much interference in my building) so I picked up a pair of these 2 years ago and just ordered two more pair. For the $$$ you can't ask for anything more.

Cons:	adjustment becomes loose
Pros:	Lightweight, Rich Sound, Comfortable, lasted 2 years
Best Uses:	tv at night

This is a great product for the price. Very lighweight and comfortable. Only downside is that it is not as loud as I would like, but all the same - great sound.

long cord is an added plus

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Listening to a small TV with these headphones blows away the tinny small speakers that come with the TV. The volume does not have to be turned up at all; in fact, to listen comfortably, the volume has to be turned down. Adding foam to the headband would make these headphones much more comfortable. These headphones are already comfortable due to their light weight but extended listening (up to 6 continuous hours) makes the headband start to make the top of the head slightly numb.
