BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

We use this a/c for the living room but at the same time it also cools the adjacent dining area. This unit runs whisper quiet, but occasionally it start rattling. Haven't quiet figuered out yet how to completely stop it from doing so. It fits snug into our new building installed a/c sleeves [...] It was delivered to my apartment, it can't get more convenient.

Perfect Fit and Great Unit

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I needed an through wall A/C unit BUT it needed to fit an old fedders sleeve. My 20 YO unit was old, noisy and an energy hog. This unit was a perfect fit and was east to install. The unit is quiet and cools the entire apartment.

wallmaster is the cooling master

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

As a contractor for over 20 years, I have installed many Friedrich WallMaster AC's. One thing is for sure, I never have had a bad one out of the box and their quality seem to be get better as time has gone by. They are quieter, well balanced, better looking, very easy to install (in existing wall sleeves) and my clients like them. The 45 degree upward facing air supply, helps with circulating air throughout a room and there is little or no return capture of supply air at the unit's return air grill. That means your cold air is going into the room and doesn't get sucked back into the unit as it exit the unit. Definately a quality product.

Very Good AC

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this AC to cool a large living room plus kitchen/dining room area in my apartment; basically about 650 Sq feet out of a total of 800 in my one bedroom apartment. It has performed exteremely well and has cooled the entire area very nicely during the current heat wave without appearing to be "working too hard". I can't say anything about durability as I have only owned it for a few weeks, but so far it has been great.
