Just an average dryer

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It just doesn't seem to get hot enough to dry towels, mattress pads, etc. All exhaust lines have been checked.

Great machine for the price

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I had to quickly replace a broken dryer and it was an unexpected expense so the new one needed to be affordable. My last unit was stackable so I also purchased the matching washing machine. This is a great dryer for the price. It has many more settings than I will ever need and dries things very quickly. It's the first time I've had a dryer that is usually done at the same time as the washing machine. Every once in a while there is an item that is still damp when you use the auto cycle, but overall this is a great machine.

Dryer sometimes all wet.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is one loud dryer. You can hear it a mile away. Also, most clothes labels direct you to tumble dry low. With this machine the clothes don't dry at a low temperature even though you dry at 44 minutes. So, I have to dry at medium for my clothes to dry and even then some heavier items might be damp.

Perfect Match for the Washer

We bought the dryer because it matches the washer. It is efficient and the lint filter catches well. The dryer has several different settings - nice when you just want to dry a few items of clothing - although you will probably use it less since the matching washer's spin cycle is so efficient.

Gets the job done

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was hoping the dryer would be as good as its matching washer. I can't say I've found anything spectacular about this dryer, but maybe we just need more time together. My clothes are sometimes still damp even after 50 minutes. Like I said, I may just need more time to figure the machine out. I would still recommend this dryer, because it has a large capacity, is quiet, gentle on clothes and does get the job done.
