It's satisfactory for the

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is an adequate coffee maker. The design is also satisfactory. However, my old coffee maker had a water container with waterline measurements so I could pour the water directly into the brewer without using the carafe. I miss that feature the most. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the product.

Good coffee maker.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Coffee is very good, but the basket small. I make 6 cups, can't imagine what would happened, if I make more. Grinds are overflowing even if I tired grind the beans at different level.

Another superb product [...]. By far and away the easiest coffee pot to operate. Looks great in the kitchen, quick, easy to clean and makes great coffee. I LOVE the autobrew feature--saves me time in the morning.

Good Buy

I bought this coffee maker for my wife (she wanted one that fit the decor of the kitchen). She loves the coffee (she says it tastes better than the Braun it replaced). She also loves the color. One small problem seems to be that the condensation that collects under the two lids drips onto the counter when they are left open to dry.

wonderful product except that the container is hard to get in and out and the water runs down the back when the door is open for you to put more water in it.

This is a great coffee maker

Kitchen Aide always makes good products. This one is no different. The ONLY thing that I wish was a little better is when it brews it messes up the lid on the coffee pot. I can live that though. I use this coffee pot in the school that I work in and I brew pot after pot after pot all day long. Coffee is always hot and tastes great!

just what i was looking for.

The auto shut-off is wonderful. Very easy to use and the sprayer evenly saturates the coffee grounds so you get the best taste. This is the best coffeemaker i have ever had. The coffee brews fast but not so fast that you lose the flavor like some other brands out there.

This is my second Coffee maker from Kitchen Aid. I liked the first so well, I got one for our vacation home. The first one has leaked a very small amount from the base once...it may be that the filter got folded over. I will keep an eye on it.

Kitchen Aid coffee pot (KCM511)

Yeah, it's just a coffee pot, but it does do what it was intended to! And does it well. The pot has a good feel when pouring, and the color choices are great. I just bought a second one for our vacation home.

Much easier to fill but the condensation inside the lid drips down the back when you open the lid, just like my old coffee maker did, so you have to wipe the counter behind it. Otherwise, makes great coffee.
