The Cuisinart™ Griddler™ makes "multifunctional" an understatement! Make perfect panini... plus! With four separate cooking options, it can handle everything from pancakes to sausages to grilled cheese to steaks, hamburgers and panini. Better than George Foreman

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Since receiving the appliance, I have grilled hamburgers, pork chops, and chicken breasts. We made pancakes and paninis. The grill and griddle plates remove easily for washing. The surface heats up quickly and evenly. I much prefer this product over my old George Foreman and recommend switching over.

Great product for the price

Have owned this for 3 weeks and so far have been using it to cook hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs and grilled cheese (still need to try the griddle plates). The bottom grill seems to get hotter than the top, so make sure you flip what you're cooking if you're using it as a press. Does an excellent job of draining grease. Very easy to clean while it's still hot.

Good Product

Makes it nice to be able to grill inside when the weather is not so nice outside. I've only used it for grilling a couple of time and it has worked quite well. I plan on trying to cook pancakes on it for my grandkids soon and see how that works.

This product is great as I use just a small corner of my prep counter to cook food with no mess on my cooktop area. I can easily reach the heat selection at any time to control heat for any specific food requirement. Makes the easiest and quickest grilled cheese/panini sandwiches. Great effortless cleanup.

I was looking for something easy to use and clean. This is. i wanted to be abe to quickly cook up some burgers and pork chops, things like that and this is perfect. It did set off my smoke alarm the first time I used it, before anything was cooking. This was annoying but hasn't happened since.

This product's weight is both a strength and a weakness. Being heavier than other models makes it more difficult move which means it will spend a great deal of time on the counter. However, its weight is what helps it retain heat and recover after food is added - a must for a serious grillers. Its attractive, stainless steel finish and classic design makes it suitable for full-time counter duty.

Just not deep enough

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything seemed great about this product, EXCEPT: The manual was vague about cooking temperatures and times. If this was a new cook they would be confused about that and possibly undercook or overcook their food. ALSO, the grids are not deep enough when you cook 4 burgers at a time in the contact part of the grill (not flipped open, but both sides of the meat have contact with the grates on the top and bottom of the grill at the same time). There is one teeny, tiny place for the grease to drip out. That is not enough because the grease drips and spills out on all 4 sides and on to the counter making it a bummer to have to clean. After using this for 1 week we sent it back. If the grids are improved, we would be interested in purchasing it because of all of the pro's this machine has to offer.

Simply to use

Cooking for a small family this is unit is great. Easy removal of cooking plates, not heavy like the griddle on my stove. I can cook breakfast next to the table and have hot food. Drip cups need to attachable not just sitting on the counter I hopes you don't move them when frying bacon, or sny other juicy or greasy item.

Excellent

I like this Cuisinart much better than the George Forman grill. The top is adjustable so even thicker cuts of meat are cooked evenly. The removable grill pans come off for easy and quick cleaning. They can also be put in the dishwasher. The unit heats up in a respectable amount of time (no faster or slower than the Forman) You do have to be careful when lifting the top lid. The sides of the handle get very hot. All in all I think I'm going to use this a lot more than I used the George Forman. It is more versatile
