BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid Pro Line Series 4 Slice Toaster - [...] This is a top of the line unit. Toasts Even, Keeps toast warm, Finite Color Adjustment, and there is even an optional/extra holder to do Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, etc.It is heavy duty. The Frame and ends are DieCast. The weight of apx 13lbs is easily seen in the construction of this toaster. Don't plan on putting it away, it's best left on the countertop or appliance Garage.My Recommendation: If you are tired of replacing your toaster every couple of years, use various types of bread to toast or make your own bread toast, this is the toaster. Enough SaidExpensive, YES... but this the best and last toaster I expect to ever need to purchase.Buy It.[...]
