• MP3/WMA Playback Included
  Plus, the FH-P4200MP plays your MP3 and WMA files. This gives you huge flexibility with the types of music you can play and the sources that your music can come from. Each CD-R or CD-RW disc you burn has the capacity to hold up to ten complete albums of MP3 music and twenty for AAC/WMA discs. Trust us, that's a lot of music. • Built-in Speaker Power
  MOSFET - A Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor is a very efficient power supply. Compared to a standard power IC, it has higher current capability, produces less distortion and plays a wider frequency range. And, it has enough power to run multiple speakers or even a subwoofer.
• Loudness
  At low volume levels, low and high frequency sounds in music can be overpowerd by ambient noise levels in the vehicle. Loudness control provides an easy way to boost these better overall sound at low volume levels. Many Pioneer models feature 3-mode loudness, allowing you more precise control of the boost levels.
• DSP
  Digital Sound Processing allows you to control your music to fit your car's acoustics. for better sound quality. And, it allows you to create various effects that add new dimensions to your music.
• BBE Digital
  BBE Digital divices the audio signals into three frequency bands and adjusts the speed of the sound waves so that the sound reaches the ear as it should for maximum listening pleasure. BBE adds a longer delay time to the lower frequencies and slightly boosts the high range, which tends to become attenuated, so that it recovers its natural articulation. And BBE dynamically controls the amplitude relationship between the mid and high band areas. This, in compensation with the phase compensation feature, restores the brilliance and clarity of the original live sound. WhatBBE brings to the world of car audio is pure, natural sound that's as close to the original as possible.
• Source Level Adjuster (SLA)
  Allows you to independently adjust the volume ratio between all of the headunit's sources (using the fm volume level as a reference), so the start-up volume of the various sources will be the same.
• High-Pass Crossover (HPF)
  A high pass filter (HPF), included in the headunit or amplifier for more control, that limits low frequency signals. This provides the speakers with the most efficiency for their frequency ranges, and protechs them against damage from excessive bass.
• Rotary Volume Control
  Large volume control knob that is easier to grasp and use than typical "+" and "-" keys. There are two versions: Fixed, and Pop-up, which can be pushed back in when not in use.
