You get what you pay for. You can buy a[..] toaster every few years, or just get this one and be done with it. Beautiful looking and bare bones ease of use make this toaster a breeze to operate. Makes a nice statement in a kitchen with stainless steel accents. Construction details lead me to believe this is the last toaster I will need to buy for at least 20 years. Has a built in chime to tell you it has finished-- a bit startling at first, but you get used to it. No fancy extra features, just bare bones brilliance. If you can convince yourself you can keep a toaster for 20+ years, just buy it.
