BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

After spending $800 on my new Miele vacuum (which I love), I hated the idea of spending another $75-80 on an attachment. However, if you purchased a Miele, it's essential for cleaning carpeted stairs and really helpful for cleaning under chair cushions. It's very powerful and easy to use.
