Designed specifically for Handycam camcorders with 10-pin AV ports, the VMC-30FS allows you to send video to either an S-video or composite video port and stereo audio to standard RCA ports. Good long cable. Looks to be well-shielded. I have a DCR-SR100 camcorder and I use this cable to capture Hi8 video, VHS tapes, etc. I also use it for playback to the TV. To the eye it's not significantly better than component video (for capturing purposes) but if you are serious about capture/playback quality you should get this cable. Sony should include this cable with the camcorder in the first place....

Best Uses:	Dorm Room, Office, Home, Travel, High-End Equipment
