No carafe! how great. This really makes it easier to "pour" a cup because you just push a button and you have great coffee. I don't care for the single cup coffee makers, but I always liked the function. This is convenient and makes great coffee. I will buy again.

What more can be said --- quick, hot and delicious cup every time. Without a "Pot" is even easier and less to clean. Just place your cup under and whala! Enjoy your cafe

The only problem I find is the lack of a container to pour the water into the machine.

You must read through the directions to figure this one out. The controls are not intuitive. Once you figure everything out, it works beautifully, brews quickly and keeps the coffee hot. You can also remove the drip tray for taller mugs. Pouring water into the fill hole is a little difficult because it's only about the size of a small egg.

We liked this so much that we bought another even though the switch broke after only a year ... apparently not uncommon. I'm going to try to return the first one to Cuisanart for repair, although from what I've read online, that doesn't seem to be easy.

We've had this coffeemaker for about a month now and don't have any complaints. It seems to brew coffee a bit hotter than our last few Mr. Coffee machines and the initial cup is VERY hot. The coffee actually tastes better with this machine than our previous ones. The main attraction to this machine is the lack of a carafe (which often break or spill) which has an added benefit... Since the internal carafe is insulated the coffee doesn't have to be reheated as extremely so it still tastes great even after the max 4 hour heating time. We've even microwaved a few cups after the coffee sat for most of the day and it still tasted pretty decent. Some might find it difficult to fill or clean but I haven't had any issues. If you are tired of your coffee tasting terrible after 2 hours of reheat time then buy this machine because you won't be disappointed.

I use the product every morning, it looks great, makes great coffee and brews quickly. I cannot put a tall "too go" coffee mug under it as it will not fit, other than that, I am very happy with the purchase

THE STYLE OF IT IS WONDERFUL AND EASY TO CLEAN OUTSIDE WOULD LIKE A LITTLE LIGHT UNDER TO SEE HOW MUCH COFFEE IS IN THE CUP ALTO AND A LARGER HOLE TO POUR WATER INTO THE BREWING STATION ITSELF

Makes a ggod cup of coffee, simple neat

Very nice Product. We had a Hamilton Beach Brewstation and it is not a bad product, but it shut off in under two hours. The Cuisinart is very nice looking on the counter, does not take up much space. Makes great coffee with either the supplied gold filter or paper filters. Easy to program for morning coffee and A BIG PLUS, It stays on for up to FOUR hours (programmable for less)!!!. Also, the internal carafe/basket container is very well insulated so that it stays hot a long time after the machine shuts off. When it shuts off, it gives you a little beep beep beep. Nice!! My only complaint with it is that the water basket/carafe that you put under the faucet to fill only had the spout set up for Right handed people!! Really made a mess trying it the other way.. However I solved that problem by filling up the basket by using my sink hose sprayer to fill it. A lot easier and less messy. There a gage on the side of the maker which lets you know how much water you've added, for 12 cups or 10 cups or whatever. There is also a gage on the front which lets you know how much coffee is still in the dispenser. The drain catch pan easily removes to accommodate taller cups too for those who fill up traveler cups. All in all a Very nicely done machine, except for the right handed basket DOH!!!! Buy it!! 23 years in the NAVY we never had anything this cool for JAVA...

My husband says this is the best gift ever! HE loves the coffee taste and its so simple!

This coffeemaker is very highly recommended, the best I have ever owned. I use the 'Eight O'Clock' ground coffee with a regular paper filter and it is delicious time after time. The only thing wrong with the coffeemaker is I cannot locate the charcoal replacement water filters, and this is so aggravating.

I bought this because of a friend who had one" It was a good move.

love everything about this coffee maker. easy, clean, no clean up. just empty coffee basket, rinse and refill for the next morning.

We like the ease and the double filters, plus the no mess after filling, the old 12 cup unit with glass was always needing to be cleaning. good unit you will like this one

12 cups take 12 minutes to brew, always hot. Features works well. Like the auto shut off.
