Toshiba Progressive Scan DVD/VCR Combo With HDMI, Model SDV594 The SDV594 combines the picture and sound advantages of a progressive scan DVD player with the convenient recording and playback options of a video cassette recorder. The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) brings your Home Theater to the next level by streaming multi-channel digital audio and digital video information together on one cable to digital televisions and monitors with a compatible input. Video Up-conversion displays a pure digital signal at either 720p or 1080i, so as to match the resolution of the HDTV monitor to eliminate signal degrading AD-D/A conversions. HD JPEG will provide the ability to view high Megapixel images in their enhanced resolution when using HDMI™and an HDTV display device. Simultaneous DVD playback and VHS record for watching a DVD while recording a TV program. Storing, sharing and transporting data is simplified by a USB Interface, which provides simple multimedia playback of mass storage classification devices such as USB Memory Sticks, memory card readers and digital cameras.
